My creative practice exists somewhere in the intersection of abstract painting and the nurturing of houseplants. Further: this exists as the layered domestication of interwoven life forms, and the pathologized, medicalized, institutionalized mind. My work is a study of the creative processes of living and being: looking into the creative processes of plants as non-linear practices of growth and decay. The paintings exist as fragments of large actions; through layers and intersections of care, the inevitability of transience remains.
